ONLINE SALES FUNDRAISER

Instead of a yard sale, you might try having one person you select from your chapter to volunteer to collect items for resale online.  There are plenty of website such as ebay and Amazon Marketplace that can facilitate such transactions.  Your volunteer will need to be not only well-organized but also computer savvy.

This type of fund-raiser will take a longer time to complete ultimately, but you stand to raise a good amount of money if the quality of donations to the fundraiser is good.  Remember that you will have to budget to ship the items.
